Im new here, but have a very important question that I hope you can help me with. A friend of mine just sold me his old blackberry model 7280. He couldnt find the software at the time for me, but said I could get it online. So I did that, and then I seen all of his info on the phone already, so he said just click the reset button in the back, so I did. When the screen came back on it just had the error 507 come up, with a circle with a line through it with shapes. I went through this sites archieve and found that that meant there was no operating system to be found. I dont have the cd for it, and nothing that it was backed up on. What should I do?

The 507 error mean that there are no applications (ie operating system) installed. Download and install the OS for your particular model. Specifc instructions can be found HERE.
