I'm coming from a Pearl. I don't have that many contacts in my BB Messenger, but my closest friend I always use it with him. Ever since getting the Storm...he keeps "vanishing" as a contact. Just gone. Is this an issue anyone else is having?

And half the time if I get a message from him, the notifier doesn't work. I'll vibrate but not elicit the accompanying sound.

I got the Storm on Friday when it came out, then immediately left for vacation the next day. I have to say, so far....if I were back home, I honestly think the Storm would have been back to Verizon by now. Typing on it is a pain in the...well, you get the idea (think south), battery life for me is TERRIBLE. After 6 hours off the charger yesterday, I had 2 calls for maybe a total of 20 minutes, some messaging and a little internet usage and the battery was down to 40%. I used 60% of my battery after 6 hours? Ridiculous.

Not a happy camper right now...and I wanted so much to like this phone. Now I'm starting to wonder about my other options.
