Default Stop BlackBerry 8110 Pearl accessing internet and using my credit!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have a BlackBerry 8110 Pearl and Virgin PAYG SIM, however my credit goes down each day as a charge for me accessing the internet, so even if I don't touch my phone all day I am charged 30p. I have spoke to virgin and all they can tell me is the charge is thier flat rate for for accessing the internet. I figure the handset is somehow set up to acecess the internet periodically. Is there a way to turn this off somehow?

Please help!
