Default Pearl 8120 won't connect to Mr. Handsfree headset

Please Login to Remove!

Hey,

I purchased a Mr. Handsfree headset and it doesn't seem to work with my BB. It works great with my Mac and it worked with my previous phone. As it did'nt work, I even went back where I bought it and asked for a new one: same problem. So I think its related to the BB. There are no error messages and I already tried the few solutions posted on post-it in this forum.
So what? Is this headset not supported? Isn't BT supposed to be universal?

Thanks for your help.

PS: I now realize that Mr. Handsfree may not be the best brand for headset but it's small, very light and the battery life is pretty good...

this headset is not supported by RIM.

yes, bluetooth is universal... but even a universal remote control doesnt work with everything.

I bought a Jabra (8040 if I remember well). Hope it's a good choice!

i had one. excellent piece. it can simultaneously connect to 2 phones, receive A2DP stereo music, and the light weight makes it nearly unnoticeable.

my only issue is that it caused problems when making UMA calls.
