Hey guys,

Recently went to the 8330 Blackberry from Sprint, and upgraded the software. I did a backup before the upgrade, and everything went through fine, except my Password Keeper and Notepad icons disappeared. I tried several times getting them back from DM, but there not listed in the applications list. Is there any way I can get them back, and still retain all my passwords?

On your BB, go to Options > Advanced > Applications.

Do you see either of them listed there?

Welcome to the forums.

Are you sure the icons for the applications are not hidden? From the main screen, press the Menu button (left of trackball) and click Show All. Any hidden icons will appear transparent. If you see the Notepad or PK icons, highlight them, press Menu, and click Hude (to uncheck it).

ok, did show all...did not pop up

went to the Application list...and neither are listed...

then you will need to open Desktop Manager (connect the BB via USB) to App Loader and check the installed apps list there. CHECK those two.

In the previous upgrade, you must have UNchecked them.

Don't know if I accendently did something wrong during the upgrade, but went to the DM apps loader, and the only items on the list are "Pocket Express" and "Sprint TV". Nothing else is listed.
