Default Network Status? Help Please....

Please Login to Remove!

In Options, Settings, I'm looking at the Network Information...

I've noticed it's read Cingular before, but I use T-Mobile... I want to make sure this is okay as I don't want any conflicts with my carrier or my monthly charges...

Network Selection Mode is set to Automatic by default... Is this the correct setting?

Your help is appreciated... Thanks!

It depends on where you are located. There are areas where TMo uses cingular's towers. I know in San Francisco my home page says TMobile but when I look under network it's actually Cingular's tower.

Hey as long as I'm not going to incur any special charges I'm fine with this. Just wanted to be certain.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I have been in some remote places where the mobile provider is not recognizable. Is there any way to know if you are getting hit with roaming charges just by looking at your screen?
