my old bb8900 got totally damaged, neway i had a up to date back up file of it, which i assume that it backed up my applications too, neway now the i restore this bak up file on my new bb 8900, i cannots find my applicatons under downloads and i checked and none of the applications are restored on to my new bb 8900.
Could someone please advise me on what to do?
whether the apps are in the back up file or if theres another way of getting them bak onto my new bb????

Third party applications are not included in the backup file.

It's too late now, but here's the procedure to back them up:

As of now, you will need to download and install the applications again.
