Enterprise activation stucks at 16%. But email/web all working fine. IT policy is in place as well.

Do I need to bother fixing the activation?

What version of BES are you on? Exchange?

Also, if you have tried to activate more than once and it fails you will need to go into that users inbox and delete the etp.dat attachment. Activation will fail everytime if not..

How long has it been stuck? Might want to just wait it out. If its been like 40 min-1hr then you could try rebooting or canceling then re-starting.

It stucks over an hour. Tried twice.

This is connected to Exchange server.

Now the status shows not activated. However, email and browser works just fine. Functionally, that's pretty much all I care.

Where can I find this etp.dat?

In the inbox of the users Outlook that you were activating the handheld on.

the e-mail connection is one of the first things to be activated. i would def try deleting the etp.dat file

Ignore that comment... it was bad information given to you and doesn't make any sense in your situation.

The activation email with etp.dat attachment is automatically processed by BES when your activation starts.
Since your activation has already started successfully... the message would have been deleted from your inbox already.
