I have the blackberry tour. My battery died completely so I charged it for over 3 hours and came back and it wouldn't turn on. I unplugged it and notice that the red light comes on for a few seconds and than turned back off. I took the battery out and it still wouldn't charge nor turned on. Please help. It is less than a year old and this is driving me crazy...

Please update your profile to include the BB model number not the name. It helps to know exactly which model you have.

How are you charging? Have you tried a different method? Did the device get wet or dropped?

In many cases, the battery needs to be replaced. Visit a Verizon store to see if they have one to try. Your warranty might also cover the cost. Did for my 9000.

Your battery might be dead maybe get new one from ebay

live it on charger 1 or 2 days , and it will work , i did the same with my 8900 curve battery and it works preaty well. cheers
