Are you sure you want to turn it off. For some applications I agree its a pain. But once you use it alot you'll come to like it (trust me, I hated it at first.....see me post). The trick is to not look at the screen while typing, just type away and look up at the end. If words are messed up go back and fix them.

As above. I hated and didnt use it until I read a simialr post. Technique works great and so does suretype.
