Default Help! Deleting Phone Log?

Please Login to Remove!

Can someone please tell me what settings I should have so that entries in my phone log don't get deleted when I delete them from the message log?

Thanks so much!

Thanks...but I don't think that's what I'm looking for. I'm trying to KEEP the listing of my calls (call log screen), but they keep deleting whenever I delete the listing of all my messages in the inbox. Any other ideas? Your help is appreciated!

I haven't faced this, but I'm almost certain you can't do what you want. These are just different views on the same data--delete in one app (message folder) deletes the entry from the database and it will be gone in the other app (phone) as well. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

From your call log hit options and select call logging. Then set show these call log types in message list to none. This takes the call logs out of the messages folder.

Good job. I didn't read the question the way it was intended. My bad.

By the way, this only hides the call logs from the Messages application - it doesn't prevent them from being there.... something handy to know if you are running low on free space.

I saw the word "delete" in the question. I am glad the issue is resolved.
