Default Remote Control

I have just purchased a Blackberry Pearl and wondered if I could use it to control my PC via Bluetooth like i could with my previous Sony phone?

My aplogies. For some reason I thought you were referring to using it like an actual remote control through bluetooth. Please disregard my last post.

Yes you can its a great feature, you just go to remote control in your bluetooth settings i think, and you can select whether to use it as a media player controller or desktop controller.

I remember there is a similar feature in Nokia phones as well. There is an application called 'Nokia Presenter'. You can control your Powerpoint presentations, media player and even your desktop to some extent.

Waiting for a similar application for us berry addicts :(
