When sending a MMS, sometimes I get an icon of a clock and it appears to be about 3 O'clock. Can anyone tell me what this means and why it's not sending? Thank you.

That means the message is pending. It should turn to a check mark once it sends.

It means your message is que'd for sending but hasn't yet sent. Could be the device is busy doing something else or you are out of coverage/data coverage.

Hmm. Interesting. Some messages I get the little circles and others I get this. Not sure why. My phone is transferring any other data.

Was wondering how it determines the users statuses like Busy/Active/etc...

The clock means the message is waiting to send. The circles mean it is currently sending. And the check mark means it has been sent. If you see a red 'X', that means the message was not able to be sent.

And if you have the options, confirm delivery and read checked, then a check with a little "D" it means the message has been delivered and a check with a "R" means the message has been read.

No, MMS has read and delivered too.

Under Options > MMS all I have is "Allow Delivery Confirmation" and "Confirm Delivery", among other unrelated options. I don't have anything related to a read confirmation. Is this specific to a different device/OS? Or am I looking at the wrong thing?

Also, what is the difference between "Allow Delivery Confirmation" and "Confirm Delivery"? It's just a checkbox option.
