can't see filed e-mail anymore

Background: I'm on a 8703e BB, on Enterprise server from my company.
Until yesterday (08Jan09), when I had an e-mail that I wanted to file in subfolders of the Inbox that I had created in Outlook, I could file it via my BB and still see, review, and/or delete the e-mail via my BB.
However, as of yesterday, if I file an e-mail I've read on my BB, it disappears from the BB screen! I later can verify that yes, it did get correctly filed into the subfolder in Outlook, but as I can't see it any more on the BB, I'm feeling frustrated.
I called Verizon CS, who didn't think it was their fault, and the CS rep put someone onto the call who apparently was from RIM, and he said it was my company's change. But our corporate Help[less]Desk says they didn't change anything.
Anyone have any clue as how to get my BB to again continue to display filed messages?
