My Cingular rep in Texas told me that she found out at a reps meeting this past Monday that Cingular will not sell the 7290s until on or about October 15th, although they were trying to do so today, as set out in the Cingular web page. They just couldn't get it done. It will be a company wide-roll out, I understand, so you should have it in NYC as well.
