A UK site, p**EDIT**s.com, is selling the Bold for $399 plus $30 for FedEx shipping. Can this be legit??

Product description claims it is a QWERTY keyboard.

And, they say it is unlocked

In case it were the TMo Germany release with the QWERTZ keyboard, I believe was John's reference. Of course, that would not bother you, right?

I got it Totally forgot this difference. And yes, it wouldn't bother me My first 7100, 8100 and 8700 had all a QWERTY keyboard and it wasn't a problem to use them. Luckily only the Z and Y keyboards are exchanged, that is the only problem. On a PC keyboard it would be a real pain, cause much more keys are on different places...

There is no way that this is legitimate.

If you look up the Curve on their website it says the same thing: BEFORE YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER EMAIL US FOR FULL INFORMATION (sales@phonecitytelecommunications.com)

The Bold will be cheaper in the U.S. than anywhere in Europe once it hits the shelves, you can quote me on that...

I sent them an email too just for the hell of it though

Exclamation Update

I'm not sure how many of you got a response after "inquiring", but I received mine and feel I should share...

Here is the response in a nutshell:
"I will like you to send us your full shipping address including your contact phone number.
Mode of payment for is Western Union Money Transfer..
Shipping will be made 2 hours after confirmation of your payment..
"

I have uploaded the message to my server if you would like to read the full transcript: link removed, please PM me if you wish to view content

Please help spread the word!

Poor grammar skills ("I will like you") give it away, too!

If it is too good to be true . . . . . . .
