Hi all,

Well I was recently forced to upgrade my 8520's software to 5.0 thanks to the dreaded "app error". As with other users I have found that there are no games with this installation. My question is this: there are conflicting reports as to the availability of App World in South Africa, some say it has been released here, others say the networks are blocking it. When I go to the downloads folder and click on the "install app world" icon it takes me to a page which details which countries app world is available to - S.A. is not on the list!!!

Any other members in this forum who are in S.A. and can provide insight??? I'm reluctant to install app world if i can't download as I had a previous software conflict with yahoo messenger which resulted in my messages being invisible to others, which was resolved by removing app world (which was never used).

If app world is not available, can anyone suggest a SAFE source of games downloads for this phone? I know that no 3rd party app has guaranteed safety, but I'm fast running out of stuff to read on fanfic.net during long night duties, need games to get me through!
