Exclamation in Applications Folder
Please Login to Remove!
I have a BB Storm 2. I downloaded an application that constantly tried to access data. I tried to deny it. I eventually deleted the app. Or at least I think t I did. It says one app is uninstalled.
But, I may have messed up the settings for the other applications as when I open the Applications Folder...the one with Word to go, Sheets to go , etc I get an exclamation point with a blue OK. When I click on the facebook icon in that folder I get an exclamation and it says Uncaught exception: java.lang.error. I don't know if that error has to do with the other exclamation.
What do I do? I may have messed up the default permissions as I was messing with that. I am not sure. It is my assumption that I messed them up. How can I go back?. I don't have a backup.

Uncaught exceptions are usually the result of something corrupted within the OS or even in a data base. They're notoriously hard to track down. Often the only way to cure it is to backup and reinstall the handheld OS.

I am new to all this. To backup on BB Desktop Software 6.01 do I just go to Device and click on backup?
When you say to reinstall the handheld OS, does that mean to follow the following thread? http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ilanguage.html

Re: Exclamation in Applications Folder
I am trying to follow the link ( Latest OS: 9550 5.0.0.1754/5.0.0.1082 (Multilanguage)to reinstall the OS, but can't find the vendor.xml Could this be because I just updated a few days ago and deleted it at that time?
