As a result of changes in my wife's work schedule, I have offered to take over our personal finances and paying the bills.
I am looking for the most efficient way to schedule upcoming bills for payment via online pay.
She has always sat down written the checks, did the envelopes, put the stamps and mailed them out. That was fine for her but in my way of thinking this is just so neanderthal.
I currently have my bank account synced with Microsoft Money which utilizes Windows Live and Hotmail. I am trying to get all of this coordinated but it seems to be more tedious than it needs to be?
If anyone has a better system or has had a good experience with similar software I am willing to listen.
Basically - I want to schedule my bills in the accounting program, receive notices on my BB when they are do - then log on when I need to and pay them.
