Hi everybody. So I have a pearl 8120. and a few days ago i took it out to text, and the keys are messing up. BUT, its not all the keys. the 'call' button (when pressed) yields "*" or "7". the menu button yields z or x. the trackball yields a and d and the back button yields q and w. Its just those four buttons.
And without them, I cant do a system wipe. So I don't know what to do. Has anyone had this problem? Please Help! :D

I would start by removing the battery for 30 seconds. This really sounds like moisture damage.

i dont think it is becuase it hasnt been dropped in/exposed to any liquids. and ive already done a battery pull on it several times

You could try to reload the OS. I am not sure if that will correct your issue, but it may be worth a shot.

check if the moisture indicator has been activated, it should be under the battery, if it is red, means it has been exposed to some kind of liquid
