My device is sluggish and some options no longer work so I am attempting to perform a clean installation of the BlackBerry Device Software:

I followed the steps provided by the Blackberry website
Home >Support >BlackBerry Knowledge Base >KB11320

1. I Click the Device menu
2. I select Update...
3. A dialog box appears and indicates that there are no BlackBerry Device Software updates available
4. I am instructed to click "View other versions" in the lower left corner but the lower left corner is blank.
5. I cannot continue.

I attempt to perform a handheld recovery
I remove the battery and connect the device.
Same result.

Can anyone please advise?

Please verify your device model. There is no 8250.
