Still trying to figure all the details out with my Pearl. I set up my work email yesterday, works fine with all emails going into the messages folder on my desktop. Last night I set up a personal email account, gmail, on my pearl and it created a new folder on my desktop for my gmail emails however the gmail messages are also appearing in my messages folder. I definitely want to keep work and gmail separate, how do I make it so ONLY my work emails show in my messages folder or is there a way to create a new folder for my work emails?

For work I'm using a BES server.

After reading a few other posts, I think what I want to do is just create a folder for my work email. When I set up my gmail account on the pearl, a new folder was created. When I set up my work email, following the directions I received from wonderful corporate America, a new folder was not set up and all emails go to my messages folder. How do I create a new folder for my work email?

All messages go to main inbox - no way around it unless a different theme maybe....

Yep, it's true. Everything goes to "Messages." Can't stop that. The "email" folder is basically just a filter.

so far there isn't a theme that seperates it as far as I know.

There is a theme that separates SMS into an SMS folder. However, Email will ALWAYS go to both the Messages folder and your dedicated email folders! No theme will change that.

I use the O2 Zen theme. Everything has it's own folder. Of course there is still the Messages folder that a copy of everything goes into, but I just hide that one and then there is a separate folder for each email account and one for sms and mms.
