Wirelessly posted (life goes on! yes it is tough)

Connect to desktop manager and use the switch device wizard

Its really not that hard:

1.) Use the desktop manager and outlook to sync everything from your 8100
2.) Then its all backed up on your PC
3.) Sync the new 8120 with the desktop manager, it will dump it all on your new phone

*as far as programs, you need to re-download them on the new phone, really no way to transfer them, but everything else (the hard part) will transfer with the desktop software.

I wonder if the "switch device wizard" would cause problems. It is my understanding that those going from a non-uma blackberry to the t-mobile uma-enabled 8320 curve lose their uma abilities. Does this apply to the t-mobile 8120 as well?

Thanks, I guess I was getting a little tired last night when I was thinking about this. Have the Switch Device Wizard running right now.

Thanks,

Kirk
