storm and vibration

hi guys,
got the storm from verizon. Love the phone. Has some things about it I think my treo did better..
the horizontal keyboard layout for instance..fat little fingers and typing, i just have to take it a little slower..
one thing I did notice was that the vibration on this phone is not as strong as my treo.
I miss a lot of calls because my phone is normally on vibrate and not ring..
is there a way to make it stronger or no?
Also, anyone know of a place where I can get an extended battery for this?
