Is there any 5.0 OS for the 8310 that has been released yet? Beta or not....

If so, where can I find it?

Not around.. The 8310 (and 8300 and 8320) only have 64mb of memory. Not enough for 5.0.

Yes thats so true. Its more of the physical handicap of the 8310 thats the limitation. i just updated my new 8310 to OS 4.5 and everything is good so far. But i wonder why rim makes these phones with such low memory. After all memory chips and such hardware is only getting cheaper by the day. I dont see the point unless its a marketing ploy.

The 8520 if im right has 256mb but i personally didnt like the shape. I mean its just flat and black all over. I like the dual tone design of the 8310.

you wouldn't happen to know of version 5.0 for 8330 on verizon? if so where would I find it?
