Was charging my 9000 (battery had 2 bars left). Picked up the phone to make a call and it had froze. Screen was on but no response from the phone on any button I touched. So, I pulled the battery and reinstalled it. Nothing,nada, zilch. PHone will not turn on at all and the red light does not come on. Any ideas?

Most likely the battery died. Try a new OEM battery.

So before I called my corp office to have a new phone issued to me I installed the battery one last time. Viola... it powered up and is working fine now. I have no idea what happened. I had tried several times to remove/install battery and also took it to AT&T store and had them look at it to no evail. The battery had sit out of the phone for 4 days before I installed it again and it powered up. Been using it all week and it is working perfectly. Go Figure.
