Calendar not syncing

One of my users is having an issue with his calendar syncing. Any appointments that he enters on his BB does not show up on his calendar in Outlook, but if he enters the appt in Outlook it shows up on the BB. Were are running BES v4.1, MS Exchange 2003 server, the user has a 7250 BB with v4.0 of the software. The device is set up for wireless syncing. Any suggestions?
