Hello,
I am forced by my company to use content protection on my handhelds which is pushed out via policy. I have an issue with Canadian Blackberries loosing their browsers (All of them). This does not happen to the US,Mexican or Brazilian handhelds. The only way to get the browsers to return is to remove the content protection from the device and reboot. Of course the providers Rogers and Bell Mobility are blaming the BES.

Has anyone heard of this?

I never ran into that issue with Content Protection when we were experimenting with it last year. It was just a PITA for taking hours to wipe devices, generally slowing the device functionality and killing the ability to remotely reset passwords.

Have you tried reregistering the device on the network from the Host Routing Table menu's Register Now command? Sometimes that can help restore browser functionality when it disappears.
