Ok so im new to this fourm, hellow all. Let me start off by saying i was reading a post and someone needed a flex cable for the lock/mute buttons ht*tp://ww*w.gsm4world.us/blackberry-storm-9500-9530-oem-mute-lock-key-membrane-flex-cable-top-button--d-02963_403.html#remote-tab-1]GSM4World.us its 7.99.
anyways to my problem i attempted to repair my bosses screen digitizer for his storm and apparentlly you have to soder it?!?! anyways i tried to shove it under the old ribbon after cutting it and in the process of taking the housing off i broke the flex cable for the lock/mute button. okay so i put the battery in i get the red status light and then the little time box in the middle as if it is turning on but after that nothing happens! help! i dont kno if its not coming up because of the ribbon or the digitizer. please i dont want to get fired over a phone!! lol

After you get fired... consider going back to school.

You've attempted to fix a phone without knowing what you are doing?
There is no fix at this point, you've broken it.

The only suggestion I would of had, was to not take apart a phone that you have no idea of fixing.

I wonder what his boss thought of that?
