Default BlackBerry Browser Security Issue - Push through BES?

Please Login to Remove!

I admin a BES with about 130 users and all of our users have the Verizon 8830 with the 4.5.0.138 OS on it.

Recently RIM released this statement regarding a security flaw with the BlackBerry browser on OS 4.5 - 4.7:

The problem is our Verizon rep told us that they will not be releasing any more updates for the 8830 since it is at End of Life. My understanding that any OS 4.5.0.173 or higher will fix this issue.

What I'm trying to figure out is if I can take just the browser files from another carrier's OS release .173 or higher and somehow push this out to our users OTA and if so what is the best way to go about implementing it?

No, that's not possible.
