I have three email accounts on my BB: work, gmail and yahoo. I always have the BB set to vibrate, but I want to set it so that the work email is silent. I've gone into "Sounds," set ring tones and alerts, and under "desktop email", set vibrate to off. Needless to say, it still vibrates every time I receive a work emails. It's driving me nuts. Any ideas?

I just got this BB tour 9630 and the spam that comes to my work email and is filtered into a spam folder in MS outlook comes through to my BB. Is there a way to stop that???

Record a voice note with nothing on it (silence), then make that voice note the ring tone for your work email address.

On my Tour, the G-mail alerts are NOT covered under "E-mail [Desktop]", rather, they are under the "Other" category. I had the same thing happening, my corporate e-mail was no alert but gmail kept buzzing. Setting it to silent under the "other" category was the trick.
