Default can I disable UMA w/o disabling WiFi for internet?

Please Login to Remove!

In other words, when I try to do voice dials the call quality is unbearable but I get good reception at my house and have unlimited minutes so I would prefer it default to using airtime instead of using my UMA. Can I defeat this w/o disabling WiFi for internet surfing on the phone? I like it to use the internet for surfing and everything else, just not voice calls.

So, is it all or nothing or can I adjust the settings to allow for what I'm trying to accomplish? Thanks.

I think I may have solved your problem! Try this go to your Manage connections icon then click on mobile network options. From there go to connection prefrence and change it to Mobile network preferred and that should do it.

Looks like so far that might be the answer. I still have a WiFi icon so I assume it's still using WiFi for the internet browsing as it still seems fast loading this page. Too fast to be EDGE

Yeah that did solve your problem I did see that option when setting up my wifi I chose UMA over edge in my house since all the lead paint on the walls degrade the cell signal substantially
