Default Blackberry Desktop Manager Connection

Please Login to Remove!

Hello
I have a blackberry bold 9700. When i connect to the desktop manager of my mac nothing happens. It still asks me to connect the blackberry to the computer. This still happens even when i select to use or not to use mass storage mode from the device.
The desktop manager had previously connected to my friend's curve 8530. In addition, my 9700 connects to my windows computer.

Is there anything i could be doing wrong?

Thanks

Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

On the Dm, go into the connections settings and make sure it is looking for USB
