That sounds about right, but how do I point to the archive file for only Desktop Manager and not mess up the live replica? I suppose I could maybe create a dummy notes.ini file and point it to an archive and then get the desktop manager to link to that ini file. Not sure what the consequences of doing that would be (also since it's bordering at around my capabilities).
It would be better if there were something something dedicated like Palm Desktop or even the old Lotus Organizer that I could use as a desktop PIM rather than this workaround. But I understand that it's no longer supported.
If anyone has any specifics on how to do this workaround, please feel free to jump in...
