Hey guys,

I'm getting a warranty replacement in the mail so if I back up my old Bold will everything transfer over including my 3rd party apps, my ringtones, and most importantly my [B]settings[B] that i have spent so long configuring? Basically, will it be the same phone and the icons in the same places etc?

Also, should i check the "back up my on board memory device option?"

The backup/restore will NOT backup 3rd party applications. To do what you're asking, I would use the Switch Device Wizard within DM. It should restore all that you're asking. Regarding ringtones, are they stored on your media card?

I just want a complete mirror image of my current blackberry i guess. is that even possible?

If you want to be extra sure. Do a regular backup, and then follow these steps to backup your 3rd party apps.
