Default CurveII Wifi Issue

Please Login to Remove!

I have intermittent issues connecting to the Internet via wifi. I connect to my router ok, but sometimes I do not get connected to the Blackberry Infrastructure. When I do a diagnostic, I see this:

BlackBerry Infrastructure
Address Used://rcp2.us.blackber.....
IP Used: 216.9.242.58.....
Connecting: X

After 15-30 minutes, the IP used might change to 68.171.242.58.....

When this happens I CAN CONNECT to the Internet. When the device is using the 216 IP, it WILL NOT CONNECT to the Internet.

Can anyone tell me what is happening here?

What troubleshooting steps have you taken? I assume that you have a BB dataplan.

Have you done a battery pull and resent service books?

Battery pull doesn't make any difference. The IP address usually comes in as 216.x.x.x . After some time, it changes to 68.x.x.x and THEN things work fine... My question is why does it pick up the 216 range?
