I really hope BB10 does well but I can't help to compare them to Palm. Remember when Palm was struggling to stay afloat? They thought their new OS, webOS, was going to bring them back to compete. And while I did like webOS (I was in the minority), it didn't right their ship. I really hope things are different for RIM and BB10, but I almost see the same scenario playing out.

Did Palm ever have the numbers that RIM has, though?
To my simple mind, the first thing I thought of when I saw this video was Windows 8, the way everything is in tiles. It will be interesting to see how they compete next year.

I really am digging the no-touchpad setup - it kind of became obsolete with the touchscreen anyways. It sure freed up a lot of space for the screen. I'm just curious how much it may annoy me not having a physical end-call button.
