Im hoping someone might be able to shed some light on how to setup a Verizon 9530 Blackberry storm, to work on the Fido network.
Im using pay as you go. Fido has set my IMEI number to 2222222222228
So far the problem is on pay as you go you have to access the fido portal to purchase you data pass. Which i cannot access.
I have tried setting my APN to internet.fido.ca as well as wap.fido.ca
using fido for the user/pass
My frustration level has hit a new high messing around with this phone over the last 3 days.
Could someone please let me know what settings need to be changed/updated. The more info the better.
They "set your IMEI" ? Those are not changeable. The IMEI is hard coded into the device from the factory and is an identifier, a serial number. Either we have a terminology gap, or someone is using illegal software.
Look at the yellow sticky at the top of the 9500 section for a thread on how to use the 9530 on AT&T and TMO. Most likely, it will apply to your case as well since Fido is GSM/ In case, it should get you pointed in the right direction.
