1. What format does RIM support for video playback I am using a Blackberry bold 9000.

2. I have had people email me using outlook express from a PC a MP4 video clip (MP4 Format) and when I get the video and try to open it I get a unsupported format type. This attachment cannot be viewed on this device.

3. If I copy the same MP4 to my memory card and place the card back into my phone it plays fine. Whats going on here.

I have even used format factory to convert video to blackberry rim and still had problems opening and viewing attachments.

Have you tried saving the video to media card before trying to play them?

I have never tried playing an emailed video. However, many times I have played mp4 and 3gp movies on my 9000 after copying them over to the media card via mass storage mode.

the problem here is that you cant play videos directly from email
