Default edge in lowercase

Please Login to Remove!

I am using Blackberry storm2 9550, which is unlocked for GSM use.
SIM status :SIM - Disabled, Network - Inactive,Corporate - Disabled, Networksubset - Disabled
I have registered my BB with VodafoneEssar in Gujarat region for BBprosumer lite 299 plan and I have configured my email accounts and received email on my handset.On 27th August after updating my OS 5.0.0. 713 my BIS services has stopped.(edge displayed in lower case on my BB handset.
1. I have done security wipe twice (last on 5th Sept.2010) and did not restore old data except my address book.
2. I have changed SIM card twice.
3. As instructed from 55666 I have used my SIM on other handset 9650 but it did not worked on it (edge in lower case on new handset)
4. Last from Vodafone-Blackberry internet site I send service book.
5. Lots of time I have done Hard reboot.(removing battery and SIM).
Visited Vodafone store but could not find solution to my problem.

I assume that you have a BB data plan.

With the device on, pull the battery for 30 seconds or so.

Go tot he Host Routing Table and reregister.

Log into your BIS account and resend the service books.

May require an additional battery pull if the above doesn't work.

I have BIS plan: Blackberry prosumer lite.

I tried it did not work.

Is there any other solution please let me know

Dear All,

When I roamed(out side home network) in to the other circle, EDGE displayed and data services were activated even when I came back to home circle.
At last I am happy with my BlackBerry storm-2
