Hi,

I am trying to export / exract contacts and calendar info from a blackberry bold 9900.

I have read in this forum the idea of using a .ipd reader against the Blackberry backup files to do this?

I have the reader, but how / where so I get the .ipd files to read? Is there any specific file I need for the contacts and calendar?

Is there an alternative method of doing this?

The IPD file is created using the Desktop Manager to do a backup. It will then create the file for you to view.
Desktop Manager is free at Blackberry.com.
You will need the password of the BB if it uses one.

You can also sync with Outlook but read the instructions to insure you sync to Outlook not to the BB.
