On 3/14 my blackberry world started sending emails from my Contact List in my Blackberry with a unknown website address. This is a specific Contact List unrelated to any email accounts I have. My computers were clean and the AOL, MSN, and Gmail accounts were clean and have their own specific Contact List.

I took the phone to the Verizon store. Their only solution was to wipe the phone clear back to basics. This was done. One hour after starting, the phone again sent out emails with the Blackberry Contact List.

My other Blackberry Storm is fine.

Verizon had no solution but to have me turn in the phone and get a new one. I did. And all is well...

Anyone else get this on Monday??

I don't think it is a BB virus, never heard of one and if there were it would be all over the news and Internet.

My suspicion is that it is either spoofing a BB email address or the emails are really coming from your PC or from a spoofed account to make it look as if it is coming from the BB.
