this may be a newbie question but ,how the hell can i make the ringers in this phone loud.when it is set to high its a joke. im am a contractor and dont here it ring.i cannot always use vib.

Unfortunately once you set it to loud, that is as loud as it will go. You can try loading new ringtones in your BB, assuming you BB supports them, and maybe one of the ringtones will be easier to hear. I do agree with you though, one thing I misss about my regular Nextel phone over my current BB 7510 is the ring volume.

I think this might be something common to phones with Polyphonic ringers. I know my Samsung phone also uses Polyphonic rings.. and I just can't get a ringtone to play as lout as I want it to. Though my Blackberry 7100t is louder than the Samsung phone.
