Default Otter Box Defender Case (8900)

Please Login to Remove!

I am having more than a few issues with my Otter Box- let me first start, by saying I love the protection factor and the utility of the system. I have had it for 2 weeks, and I am generally happy with it. Now- on to the bad stuff.

-If I shut my phone off, I cannot turn it back on while it is still in the case. I tried to replicate the issue with the phone OUT of the case- no dice.

-I cannot manually clear the cache (Alt-L-G-L-G) while its in the case; again- tried to replicate out of the case- works fine.

-I find that I need to hit keys 2 or 3 times in order to get the desired result- this includes the space bar.

Anyone have any input?

did u make sure the protective membrane is on the keyboard correctly? when I got mine for my 8900 I had a similar problem and found that I had the plastic "pinched" when i put on the hardcase. I took everything apart and re applied the membrane and now everything is fine.

Thats odd- I wouldnt have thought that little piece of clear plastic would make all that difference. Why is that?

It worked by the way.
