I'm an idiot....got it to work.

Hi all,

Another newbie to the forums here, but not a newbie to my blackberry or to technology in general.

My problem is simple. I have an 8700c that I was trying to pair to my new H500 tonight and it paired but when I tried to make a call or receive a call it wouldn't connect.

When I tried making a call it would instantly tell me the call failed and if I called my phone it would act as the line was busy. I followed the directions to the "T" and restarted the blackberry each time.

I had a previous Plantronics 360 but found that to be uncomfortable with my ears and it picked up a bunch of noise the sound quality was bad, so I know my blackberry will do Bluetooth.

Do you have any suggestions before I take this back to Radio Shack and give up for a while?
