First time user

My daughter has the above phone, she has put a password on it, but she cant enter it as several of the keys are producing the wrong output, for example, when pressed 'R' shows as 'uo', 'T' as 'wi' etc etc , the prblem is some of the letters in her password and in the 'default' of blackberry are affected, hence she cannot access anything on the phone.

I have tried 'crack mem', and the features in desktop manager, as i can of course input the correct password to access desktop manager, but i cant see an option to remotely removed the password from the device, does that option exist.

As I know the actual password to get to the phone from desktop manager, I have a legit use of the phone.

Any help gratefully accepted, i'm an iphone/mac user by heart, but my daughter is missing her BBM friends

Did the device get wet? Sounds like that might be the cause of the keyboard problem.

As for getting around it, don't think that is possible. Enter the incorrect password 10 times and the device will wipe all data and revert to factory specs. However, it won't fix the water damage issue if that is part of the problem.

thanks it did not get wet, and it wont let me enter it 10 times, i got 5 in and then it says enter blackberry, but cant do that either. I found a program that helped me get past it
