I apologize if this has been answered, but I've been searching for a few days with no luck. I recently setup BES 4.0 sp2 on a separate box that is communicating with Exchange 2003 SP1. Everything seems to work fine except that I am trying to determine the cause of an error I am receiving in the event viewer. Every time I view the properties of a user through Blackberry Manager, I get about 15 MsiInstaller errors. Thanks for any advice you may have...

Wow, am I the only one who is getting this error or am I missing something obvious?

Yep, seeing that here, too. Can't remember (or find, now) where I saw it...release notes? A thread here? Who knows? But the upshot of it was that it should be ignored. Just another BES bug<yawn>.

You havn't got Outlook instead of Exchange admin tools installed on the BES have you?

If the question is directed to me, no, Outlook is not installed on the BES server & never has been. Only Exchange tools.

I'm getting this message also. Same specs, Exchange 2003 SP1 org, BES 4.0.2.3 on WS 2003 SP1.

Tried recreating the BESAdmin mapi profile? Sounds like some nice mapi errors youre getting there ;)

Ok, I just noticed that I only get these warnings when I run the Blackberry Handheld Configuration Tool.

Thank you for everyone’s advice. As recommended, I am just ignoring it. Everything appears to be functioning fine...it's just hard to be comfortable with a system that is filling up the event log!

I get that message too but I still have the problem where blackberries are only syncing one way, from exchange to the bbs but not from the bbs to exchange. Guess that the error is maybe unrelated!
