Is there an easy way of getting my contacts across? o2 have disabled my old sim which was 2g as I need a 3g sim to get it to work in the bold!

doesn't work, reinstalled many a time and no joy. Easier not to care about syncing and just do it on my sister's PC every few months. ..

I could be wrong as I dont really know how O2 works their network. But IIRC you should still be able to put your old SIM in the Bold and upload the contacts, reguardless if the SIM is conneceted to the network or not. The info is stored "locally" to the card itself.

but that way you only get the simplified contacts, with names cut off and no emails. I've got quite detailed descriptions so would rather move them over properly.

Haven't got round to doing the PC push but am finding it quite entertaining to see who messages me and then take their numbers. You learn who your friends are!

I understand that, but then your OP about the 2G SIM alsmot doesn't seem to matter... AFAIK w/o 3rd party apps, I think your only other alternative would be to try to BT transfer contacts between devices. Might take a while, but it's an option.
