Default Delete an MP3 from 8700c

Please Login to Remove!

ok, so I created my own ring tone last night but the bit rate was wrong so it won't play on my BB. I see it listed as a ring tone option but it won't play. So I was wondering how I would go about deleting it??

When it is highlighted, click the trackwheel, scroll down the menu to "Delete", click the trackwheel.

Hope this helps.

When you click the scroll wheel to edit a profile, you are presented with six options (Help, New Profile, New Exception, Edit, Show Tunes and Close). If you select "Show Tunes", you get a list of all tunes (i.e., potential ringers, alarms, etc. on your device). If you scroll to any of these tunes and click, one of the options is "Delete".

That should do it.

Don't know much about the 7100 series, but you should have an option ob the profiles app menu for show tunes. That is where you can delete any that have been downloaded. You can't delete those that come with the OS.

Hope this helps.
