While not everytime, most of the time when the phone is locked and the bold does not display the name/picture for the incoming call when the CLID is a number in the address book.

Anyone else have this issue and a way to fix it?

You need to go to options, security settings, general settings and be sure "include contacts" under content protection is set for "no".

This is actually a security feature since you might not want someone knowing who is calling your blackberry if you don't have possession of the device (and it is locked).

thnk you very much for that simple answer. i bet i would have been on the phone couple of hours for them to come up with a solution for this.

What I would like to find out is if there is a way to create a custom policy that will set the option to No. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
